Target USA CUP is the largest youth soccer tournament in North America! Hosting over 1,200 teams from all over the world and playing all the games at the National Sports Center 860 acre campus!  

USA Cup Schedule:  

Monday, July 17th: Arrival date for teams to hotel.  

Tuesday, July 18th: First games as early as 7:00AM. Opening ceremony later in the day.  

Tuesday-Thursday, July 18th-20th: Group play. Your team will play 4 guaranteed full length games.  

Friday, July 21st: Semi-finals. If your team advances, they will play their semi-final game on Friday.  

Saturday, July 22nd: Finals. If your team advances, they will play their final games on Saturday.  

USA Cup Activities:  

Pin trading: Northern United will be getting custom pins made for players to trade with other youth clubs from all around the world. 

Dance: Players have the opportunity to dance the night away while meeting new players from all around the world at the Target USA CUP Athlete Dances!   

Target activity zone: USA CUP’s title sponsor, Target, has multiple activity zones during the weekend and week long tournaments; Be on the lookout for giveaways, mini-games, photo-ops, and more all over the NSC campus! 

MN United FC: The National Sports Center is the home practice facility for the MN MLS team – MNUFC. Make sure to stop by their activation area in the Super Store for some pretty sweet activities!  

Other activities off campus: Mall of America, MN United MLS games, Local water park and plenty more! 

Hotels:  

Stay to play tournament: Estimated hotel cost is $150-$200 per night for 5 nights. Hotels are located roughly 20-30 min away from fields. 

Commitment and fees:  

Saturday, October 15th  

• $150 deposit due through our website. Pays portion of player, team and trainer fees. This first payment will insure your players commitment and will place their hold on a temporary roster spot.  

Tuesday, November 15th  

• You will be notified if a team was formed at your players age group. The hotel block will then be open for families to book rooms. If your player did not fit on a team, your $150 deposit will be refunded back to you.  

Wednesday, February 15th  

• Final $150 installment due through our website. Pays the remainder of player, team and trainer fee's (this payment may be less).
